Norton to Introduce Congressional Latino Council at Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration Friday, Oct. 16

WASHINGTON, DC - In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will introduce her Congressional Latino Council, comprised of prominent Latino leaders from organizations throughout the city, during her "Evening Celebration of Emerging Latino Leaders", Friday, Oct. 16, 5:30-7 p.m., at the GALA Hispanic Theater, formerly known as the Historic Tivoli Theatre, located at 3333 14^th Street, NW.  The celebration will include food, family fun, and Mexican and Brazilian dancing, and an exhibit of paintings and artwork by Latino artists.
